Anika Noni Rose, an American performer and actress. She is best known for her voice of Tiana as Tiana in The Princess and the Frog, the one and only African American Disney princess. She was named a Disney legend in 2011. Rose was in the role of Lorrell Robinson on the Oscar Award-winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born on September 6, 1973) is an American actor and vocalist. Her most well-known role was her character Tiana, the Disney Princess. She is one of the very first African American Princess to appear in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in 2011. Her other notable roles include her starring role as Lorrell Robinson on the Academy Award-winning film Dreamgirls (2006) as well as for being the character her character LaVerne JUKEBOX Ganner on The Starz program Power. In addition to her acting skills, she's well-known for her roles was in the theatre.
